Shun Kanso 9" Honing Steel

The Shun Kanso honing steel is designed to keep your knives in top shape.  This steel has two different surfaces.  One side is smooth for day to day honing and re-alignment of the cutting edge.  The other side is micro ribbed for weekly honing.  To ensure that you have the correct angle Shun has built in an angle guide at 16 degrees.  This makes sure that even the most novice of knife users can maintain a sharp edge.  This is a great addition to your Shun Kanso kitchen knives.
